On the spectrum

September 21, 2021

Please episode with a delightful woman named Elaine she has ADHD and she is on the autism spectrum. We discuss her journey in trying to figure out exactly what was wrong with her, and how things changed when the label autistic was put on her after her diagnosis, And how some people treated her totally different even though they knew her for years, all because of a label. We also discussed her being from generation X, in which there was not much conversation about what people with autism were, and how things have changed from generation to generation. She tells us the difference between people who are autistic who need higher support and people who are just on the spectrum. We also discuss labels and which ones to stay away from, and much more. This episode is with Joseph who is a former combat veteran who served over in Vietnam. The bulk of his story is mainly about his journey after serving, when he had a nervous breakdown while teaching, and can no longer do that profession anymore. His PTSD and erratic behavior were starting to seep through the cracks when he had to make a change. He realized that his guardian angels were always there for him, and we're constantly trying to guide him in the right direction, but he didn't always listen, and that's one when  his  life didn't go as planned. He talks about his first interaction with his angels, and how now they help him make every move in his life.

In this episode, I get to interview my friend Dorsey who is a sweet guy, but he's been through a lot in his life, and I hope you listen to him even though it's sometimes hard to understand what he saying, because of his speech in pediment, he is a really smart guy and worth listening to. He was born with a congenital disability known as Apert’s Syndrome. He described in the episode how his condition deformed his facial structure, fused his fingers and toes, and more. Are we discuss bullying, and how he pushes himself to do events like basketball and rock climbing even though they are more of a challenge for him. He is on a mission to find his true love which is very heartbreaking, but also inspiring at the same time. We should wish him nothing but the best, I know he will find her
